Destination: The Lush Prize offers funding to support initiatives that end or replace animal testing. Five award categories are established:
Science:Aimed at individuals, research teams or institutions whose work is likely to result in non-animal testing that regulators will accept.
Training: aimed at individuals, teams and organizations that have excelled in training researchers in non-animal testing methods.
Public Awareness: aimed at people and organizations that raise awareness in society about animal testing.
Activism: aimed at exceptional individuals, groups or organizations lobbying for political change to promote the use of alternatives.
Young Investigator: Open to early career scientists (up to 35 years of age when applying) wishing to secure funding for the next phase of a career focused on a future with non-animal testing.
