COURSE DETAILS
Date: November 17, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (4 hours)
Format: Hybrid (in-person and online via Microsoft Teams).
INTRODUCTION:
Many researchers already use artificial intelligence (AI) in their daily work, often intuitively: starting a new conversation for each need and using whichever tool is most readily available. This course aims to promote a more systematic approach to AI: selecting the right tool for each task, preserving and reusing previous work, exploring the different roles AI can take on, such as reviewer or evaluator, and turning ideas into practical tools.
OBJECTIVES:
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES TO BE ACQUIRED
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Research staff.
SPEAKER:
Joan Badia Cabré
Coordinator of the Bioinformatics Platform.
The course will combine live demonstrations with practical exercises using participants’ own materials.
Important: Participants must bring a laptop and may optionally bring their own text (abstract, manuscript, or proposal) to work on during the session.
